- EFACIS: The Aistriú project is partnering with the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS), to call on scholars across Europe to translate one or more of the texts into their own languages. In this way, millions of new readers around the world will have access to Irish language literature in their own languages. EFACIS has members over 40 Irish centres across Europe from the south of Spain to the north of Finland. Previous EFACIS projects have produced multilingual translations of the work of Irish writers, W. B. Yeats and John Banville. Following an open call for translations, EFACIS members and their students have been engaging with the texts in a wide range of languages, including major world languages and minority languages from across Europe and the globe.
- Literature Ireland: The Aistriú project is partnering with Literature Ireland to celebrate our Irish language writers. Through their generous support two Irish language short story writers will present their work at the Festival of the Short Story in Croatia in 2019 and 2020. We are also collaborating with Literature Ireland on an exciting translator-in-residence programme.
- Ealaín na Gaeltachta: The Aistriú project is partnering with Ealaín na Gaeltachta to reach out to artists who use Irish language in their practice. In this way, Ealaín na Gaeltachta are supporting awareness building and the success of the project.
