Aistriú workshop

On Wednesday 1 May, Galway 2020 and the Aistriú project team invite interested artists of all disciplines to attend a special workshop and information session to help them prepare an application for the Aistriú artist commission(s). During this workshop, attendees will discover more about the aims of the Aistriú project, about the commission application and selection process, and about the texts that feature in the project, including the authors’ backgrounds and language style, the historical contexts in which they were set/written, and the major themes that are addressed. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the project team during the workshop, and afterwards they will have the opportunity to explore the University's facilities if desired. MORE
